Rant Warning!!!n (Disclaimer, I am a bit of a Sony fan boy but Iu2019ll try to not let that come out, and I have no intention of buying a PS Vita)nnI must say I’m disappointed with your opinion of PS Vita Matthew, before I dive into that Iu2019m going pick on James’ coverage of the features. You missed nice features that further set the Vita apart from Nintendo like the Rear multi touch panel, and more important the Cross Play u201cWith cross platform play you can start playing a game on your PS3 console, pause the game and pick it up on PS Vita right where you left off. You can also join in multiplayer games on you PS Vita and play against players on their PS3 consoles.u201d Back to Matthew, the target market is going to be older/mature gamers like myself. Now admitted Iu2019m not currently in the market for a portable but if I were I would be giving a real look at Vita. Nintendo handhelds donu2019t really offer games that appeal to me. The Mario/Zeldau2019s are fun but the rest seems to be dominated by pokemonu2019esk games. Vita has a strong lineup of games that would keep me engaged IE Uncharted, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Wipeout to name a few. Using cross play I can play FPS like MW3 and BF3 plus RPGu2019s like Skyrim all while my wife uses the TV (that’s a pretty big win there). I agree Smartphones are catching up fast but they still have a ways you go. You did mention touch controls just make some categories of games just unplayable and I would have to agree with that as well. Overall great podcast, I just had to get that off my chest. Keep up the great work. nnDavenn
